Video Tutorial
Files Needed
- Flash to Nought stock ROM using EDL (if needed)
- Download bypass UBL file for riva
- Download Custom Recovery >> Nougat | Oreo
- Download Appender-v4.zip | Appender-v4-rec.zip
- Download MiFlash (u’r find QSaharaServer.exe & fh_loader.exe)
Bypass Unlock Bootloader
- Extract MiFlash
- create a folder called tmp
- extract bypass file to tmp folder
- Connect your device in EDL (download mode) using test point
- rename the custom recovery into recovery.img
- run this command using power shell/ terminal
.\QSaharaServer.exe -p \\.\COM8 -s 13:prog_emmc_firehose_8917_ddr.mbn -b tmp\.\fh_loader.exe --search_path=tmp --port=\\.\COM8 --sendxml=twrp.xmlReplace COM8 with COM Port of your device, find it using device manager
For Custom ROMs
- Make sure u’r in nougat stock ROM, use custom recovery for nougat
- boot to custom recovery
- format data
- turn off phone > boot to custom recovery
- Flash Appender-rec.zip
- turn off phone > boot to custom recovery
- Flash custom ROM
- turn off phone > boot to custom recovery
- flash gapps & magisk (if needed)
- flash Appender.zip
- Reboot system
For Stock ROM
- Flash custom recovery (select android 7 or 8)
- fastboot flash recovery.img
- fastboot boot recovery.img
